Hello everyone,
I hope you are doing well and enjoying the beautiful weather that is coming ππΈ. It feels good to see winter slipping away and enjoy the beautiful days of spring βοΈ!
Speaking of “beautiful days,” today is a special one for my family and me: April 2nd – International Autism Awareness Day πππππππ.
A day where each of us wears something blue in support to all people (adults and children) with autism, their loved ones and those who work with them. This day is essential to promote a better integration and a better understanding of this difference, its difficulties and richness. There is still, unfortunately, a lot of misunderstanding and a lack of information in society on what this difference is and how it translates: people still define autism with the prejudices they know (flapping, hands on ears, body swaying …). There is still work to do ππͺπ»! This day allows us to talk about it and make mentalities and societies move… at least a little bit, I hope!π
To raise awareness at my level, I had an idea π‘: I will give a copy of my book “Marshall a lion cub like the others or almost” to a family who doesn’t have it yet. You can enter the draw by commenting here or on my Facebook author page (“Ingrid recompsat author”!). Deadline to try your luck: April 9, 2023, π€π»π€π»π€π»π€π»ππππ.
And finally, I wanted to send you this message:
“Thank you for your support since the beginning of this journey, Marshall’s adventure… And from my daughter and husband’s diagnosis πππ₯°π₯°. You have helped and supported me so much over the years and continue to do so… A big, even, huge THANK YOU π₯°π₯°π₯°π₯°π₯°π₯°π₯°.
1…2…3… Let’s share in blue today !!!!ππππ
