Hello Everybody,
My husband showed me this article and I thought it is important to share it with you.

Temple Grandin is a wonderful, atypical woman who helped a lot of families, and she continues to do it 😉! She shares her personal experience: it’s the better way to share for me🤪! For me, you can’t talk about something that you haven’t tested/lived.
In this article, Temple Grandin explains it is very important to pull our kids with ASD out of their comfort zone! With kindness and support of course😍 But it learns them they can do things they think impossible, helps them for better communication, interaction with other people! A better self-confidence: it’s difficult for them to have a real self-confidence because they are different 😉.
For talking more personal, to pull my daughter out of her comfort zone helped and helps now a lot: it’s often intense before, after for us and during the moment too! But with the past and presents experiences, we can see that it’s easier for her and she is more self-confident! At every moment like this, she is really proud of herself, and us too necessarily! she has done the circle for kids, a spelling contest a few weeks ago, activity in English Here, a french summer camp this week…She’s doing a lot of progress: we are very proud of her 😎🤩🤩!
But it’s important to know that this is intense for both of us: our children and us, the parents! A very good preparation, with a lot of anticipation: answering all her questions, show her pictures… But it’s the “price” we will have to pay for a better future for our atypical children!
Don’t hesitate to share with me articles, videos, books….
